The young students, aged between 3-5 years, participated with great enthusiasm, singing bhajans and offering prayers. Director Mrs. Anula Hazare shared stories about the importance of Aashadhi Ekadashi, highlighting the values of devotion, faith, and community spirit. The event also featured a vibrant Dindi procession around the school premises, with children carrying small palkhis and singing devotional songs. The celebration concluded with a distribution of prasad, leaving everyone with a sense of fulfillment and joy. Nibban Public School recently celebrated Van Mahotsav with a delightful plantation session, marking an exciting start to our journey in environmental education. The event, held in our lush school garden, saw the enthusiastic participation of children aged between 3-5 years. Guided by their teachers, the little ones eagerly planted saplings, learning the importance of trees and the role they play in sustaining life on Earth.

Under the watchful eyes of Principal Mrs. Preeti Atul and Director Mrs. Anula Hazare, the children dug tiny holes, planted saplings, and watered them, giggling and chatting all the while. Mrs. Atul emphasized the significance of instilling a love for nature in children from an early age. “It’s crucial that our children understand the value of trees and develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment,” she said. Mrs. Hazare added, “Today’s plantation activity is a step towards creating environmentally conscious citizens of tomorrow.” The event was a huge success, filling the air with joy and the promise of a greener future.
